How do I become a volunteer?
Step 1: Fill out an application! Click the link at the bottom of this page or email our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@collegeforward.org for an application.
Step 2: Come to a Volunteer Orientation! Orientations are held on the second Wednesday of every month at the College Forward office. You’ll be introduced to the College Forward Volunteer Program and get to meet a few staff and AmeriCorps members while you’re here!
Step 3: Get signed up for the Volunteer Loop! We email the Volunteer Loop every two weeks with a list of volunteer opportunities. Each Volunteer Loop includes upcoming projects and events, as well as a highlighted student, volunteer, or staff member.
Step 4: Jump in and get started! You will sign up for volunteer opportunities by replying to the Volunteer Loop. Simply reply to the email and let the Volunteer Coordinator know what project or event sounds like a fit for you! Sign up for as many opportunities as you would like!
