College Forward provides services
that are critical to the college access and success of the low-income students whom we serve. Our program is both more comprehensive and less expensive than similar, federally-funded initiatives; in fact, our per-student costs are less than one-third of their average. While many college-access programs aim to enroll only 50% of participants in post-secondary education, over 90% of College Forward students enter degree-seeking post-secondary programs within a year of high school graduation, and 92% of matriculants persist in college beyond the freshman year. Yet while our costs are significantly lower, programming of this quality is not inexpensive.
